Today (May 4th) atRed Hen FBG, it's time to move the tomato starts to their summer house going from 4 inch pots to 25 gallon mansions of soil.


Last year we captured all the steps that Dick Scheider (left) employs to ensure a predictable crop with no black spot or bugs.Click HERE to see the slide show.


From the 42 pots we ended up with over 400 pounds/6000+ tomatoes. (Yes, we weighed and counted every one.)  They produced well from July through mid-August. Come visit any Thursday morning from 10-11 atRed Hen Garden and check out their progress or ask questions.
