Red Hen has a new "Coop"

A Tool Shed for All Seasons

Thanks to Lys Burden, Amy Does, and Char & Jim Quandt the Red Hen Garden has a new shed to store their supplies. At the end of 2021, the three ladies held a two weekend screw-driver-a-thon and assembled the 4x8 foot metal shed.

This spring Char and her husband Jim put the shed on a sand and paver platform to keep it squarely on the ground blocking out pests and ensuring that the door will open and lock easily.

Amy later donated a heavy-duty shelving unit to handle harvesting supplies, nets, and fleece.

Thank you all for providing the Red Hen garden a dry and easy access to a year's worth of equipment.
