Winter Harvest for Food Bank!

What you can grow in a hoop house!

Beth Kreihbel, Ken Anderson, and Mary Paxton (seated) hold samples of produce grown at the Quimper Grange Food Bank Garden through the winter. Beth is holding celery, stir-fry bundles and our first rhubarb harvest; Ken a huge basket of fresh spinach, and Mary has mustard, fava bean greens and an herb bundle. Our focus this year will be improving winter harvest by utilizing all three of our hoop houses for items such as turnips, onions & mustard greens, and planting more winter-hardy outdoor produce.
