Bean Pole Vaulting

Go High or Go Home.

Swan Farms food bank garden manager  Karen Seabrook built a teepee on a late spring day. Karen and crew member Suzanne Eggleston used bamboo canes donated years before by a Swan Farms Pea Patch gardener to create the structure on which the beans could climb. The two used recycled rope from spent straw bales to secure the top, and later used it to create rungs up the body of the teepee.

Before starting the project, neither had any idea how to build a teepee. As it turns out, YouTube is a great teacher!
