Water, Water, Everywhere

Five new water hydrants and irrigation lines were recently installed by donor Jean Ball (and her buddy Willie). Jean has tended to the irrigation system at the Quimper Grange garden for many years, taking a break from her profession as a landscape designer to design for the garden. Trenches to the hydrants were dug by seven volunteers over a week, and recently filled in to all of our relief!

The hydrants will make access to watering much easier - no more dragging hundreds of feet of hose around, and will reduce tripping hazards. Thank you to all volunteers, and especially to Jean.
