Meet Bonnie Obremski, FBG Board Member 2024-27

She's well-rooted in PT culture

Bonnie Obremski  is a career journalist in print and digital media. She's covered governmental board meetings as a beat reporter in Massachusetts. After moving to Port Townsend, she provided social media content for the Centrum Foundation and Jefferson County Public Health. As a communications specialist at the health department, she focused specifically on educating and responding to the public during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, Bonnie is the communication specialist for Olympic Community of Health where she works to support the health of the Olympic region. She also volunteers at the Salish Coast Elementary Garden where she's been witnessing the transformation of kids as they taste and love the fresh food coming from the garden.

Bonnie brings the perspective of the working generation to the FBG board with an eye on how what we do now helps build a more food-secure society.
