Meet Milly Lierman, FBG Board Member at Large

Serving 2024-2027

Milly Lierman is a retired electrical engineer who grew up on a wheat farm and always had a garden. Prior to moving to PT, she and her husband Keith Lierman volunteered with the Kitsap GRACE garden serving a dozen food banks, the Giving Garden in Kingston, and Buck Lake Native Plant Garden. 

 

Currently Milly volunteers Kul Kah Han native plant garden in Chimacum, at the Salish Coast Production garden, with the PT Gleaners, and participated on the Apple Sauce making project.

 

Milly and Keith also maintain two home gardens here and in Tucson and have ties to the Native Seeds/SEARCH seed bank and Mission Garden. She also serves on the board for the Tucson Audubon garden and the Struss Manor on Pantano, a low income senior hosing facility where she created a sustainability Committee.

 

The FBG Board looks forward to utilizing Milly's diverse background of knowledge and passion for healthy soil, plants, and society.
